Cape Flattery

In October, my daughter and I surprised my husband with a road trip for his birthday. We took him to the most northwest tip of Washington State where the Makah live. It is one of the most beautiful areas, surrounded by lush rain forests and edged right up to some of the most wild Pacfic ocean waters and the Straight of San Juan de Fuca. The tribe has done a lot of work over the years putting in a boardwalk that allows for easier access to walk the trail at the cape. The views are stunning and magical.
